[PAUL]GRAY: Good afternoon. It’s a privilege for me to welcome you here today, once again, for the Institute’s 9th annual memorial observance, honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We come together, each year at this season, to honor this great leader for the lessons he taught us about justice and injustice, about human values and human relations.

It seems to me that we need now, more than ever, to pay heed to those lessons. Why now more than ever?
